Re: Anti dry fire

FYI guys....I will not own a crossbow without an ADF, however, I did encounter a pronblem with mine. I ran out of fletching glue and bought a different kind that had a more rubbery base when it dried (locktite g2). It is a very rugged glue. I regularly use old faithful Fletchtite. A very small amoun...

Re: what illuminated scope to upgrade to?

I have the Leupold fire dot too. Best sight out there IMO. I love how it turns itself off at rest and comes back on when you move the bow. That feature really saves on batteries and I am bad about forgetting to turn it off especially with deer around.

Re: Tree stand vs blind

Hunted tripods for 30 years using vertical bow. Hurt my shoulder and bought an Excalibur, another and another and several others. Built me a box blind 5 years ago. Haven't hunted anything else since. Love being able to hunt in rainy weather, snowy and windy. Dress in black, shoot a micro nightmare, ...

Re: How and what color can deer really distinguish

I also read that somewhere where deer see blue better than any other color. A few years ago I hunted out of box blind next to a feeder pen and the deer never looked at the box with me in it unless I dropped something or they winded me. Feeder pen is 20 yards from the blind. Since the box has been so...

Re: Does Anyone Use A 3 Arrow Kwikee Kwiver On Their Micro?

I rig mine the same as pic above with base mounted on riser, quiver perpendicular to rail. The K3 arrow quiver is all I use.

Re: 3 inch instead of 2 inch vanes with the matrix

I've used 3in Duravanes for over two years now in all my bows. The just seem to fly truer and stabilize the arrow better. Shoot what works best for "you". Confidence in your equipment is a major part of the game.

Re: New Matrix 350 w pics & opinion wanted....

It is not a matter of "if" you have a dryfire. It's a matter of "when". No one is any more anal about checking to see if an arrow is loaded than I am. Even with the ADF I worry about what that dead stop does to my string beneath the serving. As it is, if I do goof at least my lim...

Re: Rope Burn Anyone?

I always tuck my rope handles in my pocket and leave the rope dangling down my leg. Another situation similar to this happened to a man I heard about. Seems he was leaning forward watching a deer through his binoculars. when the deer came closer (he had the binoculars hanging from a strap around his...
