Re: Anyone Use a Ghillie Suit? What Brand?
Check out the Camo Systems" "Jackal" (just google it or amazon has them. The knit suits like in the pictures look great but they are horrible in real hunting. They catch on everything you touch, you'll spend half your time unhooking yourself from the woods. No offence to Stormdragon. ...

X2! That guy is nuts. Any Leupold, right down to the Rifleman line-up can handle anything any crossbow can dish out.

Re: O/T .22 LR Rant[Pic added]
I have a great part time neighbor from Canada who offered to bring me 5000 rounds of .22 LR for 400.00. No shortage in Canada. He can only bring 2000 across at one time but he was willing to do it. Well, I luckily hit good timing at my local Walmart one morning and picked up 6qty. of 555 packs in on...

Re: Help me build my Crossbow.
Danny Miller makes a sweet little top mount that weighs mere ounces. The Bohning top mount is a good choice too. I'd go with a Quiki 3-arrow quiver and Black Eagle Executioners, spine matched and indexed with, brass Lock & Load inserts and Blazer vanes for fine arrow package. (If you do go with ...

Re: Fletching question
get yourself an AZ EZ Fletcher for short vanes. They are designed to put a more aggressive helix over the short distance of a 2" vane. A helical fletch typically gives the best arrow flight with ultra fast arrows and muscle bows.
And they are easy to use and work great!

Reminds me of that old Tootsie Pop commercial where the kid asks the wise old owl "how many licks to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?"
The world may never know........Not enough time to find out with an Excal.

Re: Two hunters found dead of natural causes.
Had a friend pas away a few years back dragging a deer out of the woods. He was on vacation from work, hunting in the middle of the week with no help, had the big one! He was laying there next to the deer, dead as door knocker! We all joke about it, better than dying at work, or out shopping the la...
