Re: Crossbow differences

Well I only have bought one CB and that was an Axiom (old style) this past summer. Had never shoot any other CB, but some Verticals long time ago. First 4 shots at 20 yards had a 1 1/4" group. on the target where I was aiming. Way impressed. Took out the camera and got a pic. Posted here somewh...

Mule deer shedding antlers

Hi all Well we are having the winter from hell. Lots of snow, freezing rain, cold temps. What else is new for south Sask. The deer are all over the roads eating all the shrubs in peoples yards. We have 10- 20 mules coming to clean out the bird feeder every evening. So Dw has been feeding them. They ...

TPM I looked at that link. Then I looked at the Axiom I bought this summer. Not the same stock. Mine looks like all the rest of the excals I've seen. Only diff it came with a scope. This is the first CB I shot. 4 shots with in 3 inches first time I shot it at 20 yards. Was I impressed!! I researched...

Customer service

Hi all Hope every one had a good new year. So My daughter bought me a gift card for a western Canadian Sports store chain. I have been in there before and they claim to be an Excal dealer. I did not order my Axiom because they could not give me a delivery date within a month or two. So I bought from...

Re: Is this true? I want it to be....

I did some Googling. I live in the same province, I'm sure I would have heard of it. Check this out http://southbros.blogspot.com/2007/09/new-world-record-northern-pike- On another site dated Feb 2010, it mentioned it. Believe me in Feb Turtle lake would be frozen. But that is one big "Northern...

Re: Trail Camera Stolen

Hopefully some company can put a GPS locater in the cams or one that can be attached to gear. Same with laptops and other stuff. My kids have had IPods stolen and it is a rude lesson, but low lifes abound. Sask just passed a new trespass law, one with teeth. So getting permission is a must. If you a...

Re: Nebraska To Allow Crossbows In 2011 General Archery Seas

Better a deer in the freezer, than on your windshield. Dw is 5 in 6 years, One big sucker wrote off a Mazda. They seem to bounce off a Chev truck front end better. 3 off the Tahoe with minimal damage. The Stats here for wildlife collisions is huge and growing. The gun laws here really reduced huntin...

Re: jerk's at the range!

A few years ago, an old Doc and I were at the handgun range. These two guys came and set up right beside us. They were testing there hand loads and it sounded like little cannon's going off so we moved way down from the blasters. Couple minutes later " Big Bang" the guy drops his hand gun....
