Sorry I didn’t post back, but the TT out of my M380 works great in the Offspring. It’s actually lighter than on the M380 (I guess because the string pressure is less).flightattendant100 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 12:40 pm
TT only makes one Excal trigger anymore . Bet your works fine

Re: Stryker Offspring
Theres no adjustment. You might want to try talking to Danny Miller to see if he's willing to polish the latches with the finest grades of abraisve material. If done right on that bow, it will rival a Triggertech. I took your advice earlier and called Danny about buying an Offspring, and though he ...

The rut appears to be kicking off around my place in east TX, but it’s probably 3 weeks away at my place in NW OK.

Re: Messed up
I’ve killed a bunch of deer with a crossbow and never have got very good blood trails. The one I killed a couple weeks ago didn’t bleed at all until just before it went down. I had to search a thin grove of tamaracks to find her but did find her. If a person shoots at enough deer, sooner or later yo...

Re: Hunting naked?
I bought a used Bushnell Yardage Pro in the late 90’s and still used it until last year, and it still works great. Earlier this year, I bought a used Swarovski rangefinder off another message board. It’s much smaller and lighter, and I like it really well. I generally take a rangefinder to the stand...

Re: My Allusive Subdivision Deer
When my Dad was alive, he was a believer in hunting “piles” of corn instead of using feeders, and he would dump out 500 lbs at a time. I had no way of proving it, but I can almost guarantee the coons ate probably 75% or more of the corn.
We still have some giant coons on that place.

Good luck!
I’m planning to make it up to my place NW OK next weekend and assess the damage after the flood last week, and I hope to get to do a little hunting while I’m there.
