Wow! You realy have been experimenting with your crossbow. I agree that it is velocity the most importante factor, because you do not need a great amount of energy to kill deer or bear.
Thank you Sew foe sharing the result of your experiments.

Re: Kinetic Energy
Thank you Paul. You mean weight in grams? And velocity in foot per seconds?

Thank you boo. On saturday I made several shots and nothing wrong happened. I think the screws are very very tight and not stripped. So there must be no problem.
Thank you everyone for your advices.

Re: My Strirup screws are very very tight. Is there a proble
It is not a joke. I am afraid the stirup break off while I am cocking the crossbow. That could end in serious injuries for me. And all I asked is if the threads in the screw hole could get bent or they just break when you overtight.

Re: My Strirup screws are very very tight. Is there a proble
I wonder: If the stirup screws are about to get stripped, but they aren´t yet, it would be dangerous to try to cock the crossbow?

My Strirup screws are very very tight. Is there a problem?
Hi. I can imagine what would happen if the strirup comes out while you are cocking your crossbow. For that reason I used gloves and all my force to tight the strirup screws up. Now my screws are very very tight. Could be a problem with that? Have someone done the same thing?

Re: I can't reach the trigger
I DID IT! Finally I got to cock my crossbow. I follow the advices to shorten my cocking aid rope making a simple knot on it and it worked! :D Pics: http://www.mediafire.com/view/qm54c8x4oio0fcx/bow_cocked.JPG http://www.mediafire.com/view/466cw3inepg4edi/knot.JPG Thank you guys for all your advices :)

Re: I can't reach the trigger
I think that maybe if I reduce my brace height it could work.

Re: I can't reach the trigger
I already activated the trigger using the Stringing Aid too, so the trigger is working good.
