I'm noticing fewer birds in the fields in my area too, but I still hear gobbles in the morning. I think the problem for me is the yotes.... Actually, I have a gobbler living behind me in the subdivision.... We have a small green space and I hear him gobble many evenings, it's a nice sound.

I got the wood milled for pinpoint's call tonight. It should look good. Tomorrow will be the dados and sanding.

It will fit if it has the new stock type. It should have five lines on it. Most of the "older" new stocks (ones from bows made before the cheek piece came out) didn't come drilled and tapped to accept the set screw for the cheek piece but that doesn't mean that it won't fit. It snaps on re...
