Re: vortex tear down

Here is a picture of the splinter that I found on my Vortex. Thanks again to Mr. Miller for taking care of the issue, no questions asked and outstanding service. :D

Re: vortex tear down

Back in mid October I was finishing a Saturday morning hunt and slinging my Vortex when my glove snagged a splinter on a limb. After climbing down from my stand I checked the limb and found there was a 2" long splinter that progressed from the finish down into the fiberglass of the limb. Couldn...

Re: Successful deer hunt updates!!!

I took my doe to the DNR check station today and they said that she was 5yrs old. No wonder she was the last one to come in to feed with the rest of the does, she had quite a few years of experience on her. :D

Successful deer hunt updates!!!

I've been very busy the past couple of months with college classes and taking care of my boys during the day, which has kept me from checking in hardly at all. So I give my deepest apologies (yet a hearty congratulations) for all of the members that have had successful hunts so far. :D :D I'll try t...

Re: Whew!! Finally!

Way to go Laura. Nice looking deer you shot. I'm using my Ruger Super Redhawk 44Mag. for firearms season this year, I guess I needed to try something other than the shotgun. Hopefully I can give a deer a nice dirt nap before season ends. http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa442/strider2323/IM...

Way to go Wabi!!! I thought for sure you'd be showing us picks of one of those bucks (and I'm not talking about the ones where they were vertical and sucking air).

Congrats Todd!!! Nice looking doe you found there!!!

The only bad thing about that southern weather are all those nasty flies I see on the south end of your deer. The two things that bug me more than those are skeeters and yotes.

Re: Auto cocking crossbow

That thing has to weigh quite a bit. Parker's website doesn't give any number at all under the "mass weight" category. I guess if it breaks you could always put a chain on it and use it for a boat anchor. Seriously though, if something broke on that CO2 system you got to wonder at ho...
