Re: Tripod stands
I bought the Sniper Outlaw 16' Tripod Swivel Deer Stand from Sportsman Guide last month but haven’t had time to set it up yet. I hope to have it together for opening of gun season here in WI! I just hope my decrepit bones will be able to comfortably climb the dang thing! Lol

Ravin pays royalties to TP for the design’s patents. Just like TP pays royalties to Scorpyd for their patents of RD bows.

Re: Iron Will Outfitters Broadheads
I won one from their contest and it’s a solid well made American broadhead! I chose the special edition Kryptek S-125, it’s too pretty to shoot though!

Re: New Self cocking Excalibur with a push of a button
It starts at $850! Then there’s a couple other accessories you have to purchase bringing your total to over $1000.00! That’s just to add this to a Micro or Bulldog! So if you don’t own one of those bows, add the price of a bow! Too expensive for this poor senior!

Re: Chronographing Excaliburs
I have a Exocet 200 that’s only shooting 305 with a new Flemish string, new limbs and a 360gn arrow! I’m in the low 290s with my 425 gn hunting set up.

Excalibur has always been for the better? If I recall the limb problems didn’t start till after Bowtech bought Excalibur and made the Micros!

Must been bad batteries? I have the Halo Z6X600 lazer rangefinder with AI & progressive scan that I’ve had for 3 years now and still on the original Energizer battery!

Re: Compound question
No! Most ADF on compound crossbows are auto engaging except for Scorpyd crossbows. You still have to move the safety to fire when ready to shoot. That’s why they don’t recommend decocking a compound bow because you have to jimmy the ADF to decock them!

Re: Broadhead VS Fieldpoint POI
I have only had ONE broadhead that has ever came close to the same POI as a field point and those were the Swhacker broadheads. I've never had a broadhead hit the same poi as a filed point, never! For this reason, I did away with field tips and only practice with the broadheads that I hunt with. Sur...

I put a new band on and use a Bic lighter to take the stretch out of the bands.

Re: Swacker problem
The Shwacker 125 gn should have yellow bands not white. All of my 125s have yellow shrink bands. Like suggested, double up the bands and check again. Good luck! This is what I've always used on mine. http://www.bowhuntingoutlet.com/swhacker-125gr-shrink-bands-200206.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIj7mBwtT23A...

Tri focal progressive lenses here too! I use the top of my trifocals for my scope. Good luck!
