Re: Dental Bands?
NAP’s techs said that banding the Spitfire will reduce greatly the effect it will have going through an animal’s hide & muscles. They are not designed for bands! Will not open on bows with speeds up to 400fps.

Re: Exomax "Major Screw Up"
I had the pleasure recently to talk to Danny Miller too. He's one down to earth and honest man that tells you how it is type of man! He will NOT lead anybody astray just by my first impression of him! He's definitely NOT a salesman! LOL He would loose too much money! I now know that if I have any qu...

Re: Saw needed for arrow building?
I set up and cut some carbon arrows with my new saw. That thing is so sweet! I have it set up for a rolling cut. This thing cuts arrows so smooth and almost perfectly square! Finished them up with the G5 squaring tool for a perfect finished ready for inserts. Bought insert glue from Jerry from SSAS ...

Re: Saw needed for arrow building?
I broke down and finally bought an Apple arrow saw, G5 squaring tool and some very good jigs! I've tried the cheap way and was not at all happy! I didn't buy the best & expensive tools but did buy the correct tools for the trade! Good luck!

Re: VISITING THIS FORUM LESS AND LESS
Only thing that I don't like is that there is no longer the "like post" option! Sometimes great FYI or DIYs are note worthy and should have the option to be liked! When I wanted to search my history to recall an important post to me I would always search my liked posts! Would be really nic...

Re: Tagged a doe. Pic add.
I went out and sat this evening even though it was very warm out! Right before it got too dark for shooting light 3 does came in on a string right to the plot. I watched them for about 20 minutes and was hesitant because of the warm weather. Well the oldest doe turned broadside quarter away a bit an...

Re: Spitfire Broadhead Question
You can’t compare a broadhead made 21 years ago to the current ones! I’m telling you what I was told and saw with my own eyes. That’s why I recommended to call for yourself or visit the plant in Illinois.

Re: Spitfire Broadhead Question
You all are being misled because the retention clips are not any different in either the regular or the crossbow branded broadheads that NAP produces. It's one of those marketing ploys that gives consumers a warm & fuzzy feeling! Just like the guaranteed for life does, gives the consumer a sense...

Re: South Shore Archery Zombie Slayers
The glue that SAS uses is extraordinary! Heat doesn’t budge it without cracking, splitting or just out breaking the end of the arrow! Plus, he glues the Entire insert 100% not just 2 spots like factory and other fletchers do. FYI ... I used little o-rings on the shaft of the broadhead and just tight...

Re: crossbow broad heads
I know for a fact that ALL NAPS are the same ... whether marked as a crossbow Broadheads or not! I have spoken to the techs there extensively and was told the only difference is in the packaging! I’ve been to their business in Forest Park, IL also. They are all the same.

Should still be under warranty? Thought it was lifetime unless you broke the seal on it?

Here’s a view from my small blind right behind the northwest side of my barn. It’s clover and rye but it didn’t do so good this fall! Been too dang hot and dry!

Re: Scentlok ozone thingy?
I use Hunters Specialty no scent on my clothes only when they get too bloody from field dressing my deer. I hang them in the barn to dry also. Otherwise I hang mine in the barn after every hunt.

Re: Basspro and Cabela's
I find both of those stores pricey! If I can’t get it cheap online then my last resort is fleabay. I would only shop there as a last resort or for an emergency!
