On foot, doing the hard yards and chasing the game not watching them.

Re: lithium batteries in the Bushnell game cam
Small 12v battery hooked up by the lead. No need to worry about dying batteries Thats a stealth cam though, since my bushnell wouldnt even turn on when i got it.

Re: New String Shock and Sound Suppression System
I found limbsavers on my vortex resulted in a heap of lost speed and arrow drop over 30 yards and no less noise or vibration
Cossack, i thought they were meant to be placed as far away from the riser as you could get them, not as close to?

Re: Thumbhole vs Traditional stock
Why is not being able to reach the safety a bad thing. For those of us who dont use tree stands, climbers or blinds i see it as a good thing. When going through thick scrub and moving the bow about in your hands it must be harder to knock the safety. I also shoot a vortex and it really isnt that big...

Re: What broadhead do you use ?
Slick trick standard 125grain!! I would be more then happy to shoot a big bull with on of these. Fly great and i have been through maybe 5 or more packs last year, every one was consistant. Replacement blades were also consistant. I get mine for $37 a pack of 3. I also found the slick tricks flew th...

Damn lucky Wabi!
Dash, theres so many variables that could change the results, but i cant wait for them!
If you really good with maths you could probably work it out without shooting an arrow if you know your FPS and arrow drop.

Re: Arrow noice
I tried it once just to see where it went. Out in the middle of nowhere. It suprisingly came back very close to me. Probably about 30 yards away from where i shot. Unlucky it landed in a tree top though. And yes i did cower under a tree after i shot it  Russian roulette with arrows! On another ...

Re: New Owner of a Phoenix
Welcome mate! I learnt pretty quick that hay bales are not good at all from stopping arrows from a CB. Ended up putting mine out as bait for the trail cam as all they do is make a massive mess and loose arrows, which cost money. Ended up putting a big sheet of wood behind the target. Works ALOT bett...
