okay that's some helpful info, thanks guys..I was looking into the Vixen II (in pink) for my daughter and i see that it comes with the new system in place so that would be good.

Anyone using this new system yet? I'm thinking about purchasing them but i'd like to find out if it's worth the investment. Has anyone been using the new silencing and dampening system by excalibur? how much shooting have you done and are you impressed? I have SIMS on my crossbow now...is the new system worth the money?

I have been using Montec for both my compound and my Excalibur. LOVE EM! I'd highly recommend them if you like the cut-on-contact BH's and they are super accurate.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I use only 125gr G5 Montec Broadheads. I find they fly the best and LOVE the cut-on-contact style broadheads. He didn't go 20 yards. I've already booked myself in for next season.
