shaftthrower , I have the 125gr. razor tricks and they only screw in 1/8 inch... and i saw crossbow tricks same thing... To me this is not right.. I wont use them..Still searching for the perfect broadhead..... Ron

I use a carpenters square to make sure the string is 90 degrees to the rail ... Ron

I think there is a differance with the dissapator pads... Shooting down my basement my VIXEN sounds louder than my PHOENIX with same arrow. I putting them on the vixen...- Try this, with pads off tap on middle of limb hard with your nuckle then put your thumb where the pad goes I can here a differan...

Shorten your rope, pull with your legs , don,t shoot same spot, AND GET A BOO STRING....

crossbow-review tested a brown vixen with Excalibur's flemish string and got 278.8 with 385gr. arrow. Ecalibur's instruction manual says you should get 278fps. with a 367gr. arrow. Ron

Awshucks, Use your Y25 with an EXCELL string- tied on wiskers and a 500gr arrow . Will be about 280fps and nice and quiet . Ron

Boo, You mentioned padded loops on endless loop strings, is it softer loop serving or double served loops. Could you please explain. Thanks Ron

Like TPM said , I go on a lot of archery- crossbow-hunting-gun forums and never seen anything like it is on this forum. I do bypass them but when you see 8 in a row - THATS RIDICULOUS. Ron
