Re: What's The Adavantge.100gr. 125gr. 150gr. and even heavi
I shot archery target tournaments for a number of years as practice for hunting as well. We shot targets out to 90 yds in a woods at all the different targets based on diff. yardages, and at long distances vs. windage, the heavier poundage bows, with a med. weighted arrow would always have the bette...

Re: price match question
I shoped online for a couple of weeks, got a exomax with "lite stuff" package on ebay for $699.00 and free shipping. If you use http://www.bizrate.com, and type in the search box, it scours the net for best prices which lead me to ebay. I use it for accessories as well and check ebay often...

How do you hunt? And what do you use?
How do you primarily hunt? Are you on the ground? Or in a Tree Stand? If on the ground or hunt out of a stand, what is your favorite Stand or Blind? 25 or more years ago, I used to stand hunt, but then developed my Stalking technics for Deer. I sometimes sit camoed by natural cover, for a hour or so...

Re: What broadhead do you use ?
I have used about every broadhead made over the past 38-39 yrs beginning with a Bear recurve and the old broadheads you had to sharpen. And for a number of years even owned a archery shop. Being new to CB, I have and am going to shoot and play with for now, the slick trick 100 and 125g's and the 150...

After you shoot your new crossbow,,go shoot your muzzleloader or Deer Gun of choice. Crossbow makes way less noise in my opinion.

Re: What's The Adavantge.100gr. 125gr. 150gr. and even heavi
If your into speed you go lite, if your into kinetic energy, or foot pounds of force. check your arrow speeds vs. foot pounds of energy on excalibur's arrow stats, and you will get more knock down power from a heavier arrow with a heavier broadhead even at lower speeds. For hunting, I think that mos...

Re: exomax
I would take into consideration where do you hunt? Open areas? Brush? Cutover timber areas? I bought the Exomax for a flat shot as possible. Not the weight issues vs loading, vs. lighter poundage so I could shoot all day. Plus pushing a heavier arrow possibly. I wanted kentic energy in my shot. Just...

Re: Indiana going for full inclusion...again!
I think you will see Indiana pass all of the new rules for Deer Hunting for 2011 as they have only one goal and one goal only, to decrease the deer herd in Indiana by any and all means possible. DNR was mandated a few years ago by State Leglature either reduce the deer herd or we will enact laws to ...
