I used the reg grimreaper to take my 1st (and only deer I ever killed with my crossbow)this year out of my exocet 200. worked perfect and he only ran about 20 yards and head still looks new.

Has anyone tried the 100 gr. grizz trick out of there exocet or vortex? I like the bigger cut of the grizz tricks but not sure on how they will perform. Need to pick between mags. or grizz before the weekend, deer season will close on the 16th.

Did they open before they hit the target? Just thinking 200 # is a lot of shock on take off. Should I put rubber bans on them?

Well I finally got my Exocet 200 in and all I can say is SWEEEEET!! I only was able to shoot it a few times so because of the weather, but man does this thing shoot. I put the scope on and did not have to adjust anything so for. 1" high at 10 & 20 yards with 100 gr. field points (same hole)...

Can anyone tell me if the exocet has the same feel as the phoenix when shooting ? I know it is 1" longer, but is the limbs wider then the limbs on the phoenix ?

well just got back from cabela's shot the pheonix and the vortex. I have to say before I got there I was thinking it would be the vortex, but after I shot them I am not so sure I love the speed and how it felt in hand but did not how you had to release the safety. Can anybody tell me if cabela's will match internet price on excalibur crossbows ?

I have it down to the Ibex or the Vortex just not sure on which one to get will try to go to cabela's Saturday and shoot both.
