broadheads and fieldpoints
Are all broadheads and field points the same thread pitch, when they talk about 11/32 ect... is that the diameter of the field point or broadhead and if your arrow is a 11/32 are you then required to buy 11/32 broadheads or fieldpoints.

shooting 413 grains, gt laser 2, 100 grains field points.brass inserts, 2" group at 50 yards with slight wind, about 300 fps. new to this bow hunting so invested alot of time checking what the experts had to say. like boo said, if you have confidence in your equipement you will shoot accordingly.

just bought the vortex, dave at wyvern told me to use slick tricks 1" 100 grains. fly exactly the same as field points. told me the trouble with mechanical is they will open with one band on them. should use two. Just getting into bow hunting so hoping dave knows his stuff. from what i heard he...

good small game broadhead
i am hoping someone will be able to recommend a good small game broadhead. I have heard there is a broadhead that will spring the arrow straight in the air after hitting the ground, is there such a thing. I will be mainly hunting game birds, grouse, ducks ect. I'm hoping not to donate too many arrow...

Just bought a vortex, was wondering what are the advantages to having a cheek piece installed. is it to keep the xbow more level or just more comfortable feeling. I am new to bow hunting so any help would be apprectiated.

thanks for the welcome. just wondering why shooting at deer at 40 or 50 yards is not a good idea. when target shooting with bow I can place a 2" group at 40 and 50 yards with sling as brace and on one knee as rest (this is what I used to do with my 7MM mag at up to 300 yards.) I have shot deer ...
