Re: Close only counts when throwing hand grenades.

Last week I had the guy in the first pic show up, stop at 50 yards offering me a quartering towards me shot. His eyes were locked on my Rinehart doe decoy. He lifted his nose high up and then swapped ends and ran back into the woods. If he offered me a good broadside shot, I might have taken it but...

Re: Ozonics

In my experience using one here's my thoughts. The ozone layer that showers your scent or odor in theory will work. The wind does alter throughout the day you can with slight movement redirect the unit toward the downwind. As I stated before, the unit just buys you time. I've had deer come in direct...

Re: Ozonics

I am seriously thinking about picking up an Ozonics unit and am not looking to start a debate on opinions as to whether or not they work. Since most, if not all of my future hunting will be from the ground, I want to increase my scent elimination. I am wondering if anyone out there has a used unit ...

Re: Posting for ONETIMEONLY X--> - A reminder for us hunting

Ladies and gentlemen the photo was sent to me via text, group text. It looks to have happened last November from what was written below the photos. Every since the forum upgrade many months ago I cannot login using my iPhone? I asked Don if he could share this on the forum so it would not happen to ...

Re: How much time in the stand/blind?

I like to hunt the timeframes that are available to me, you just never know? I've seen deer watch hunters walk by literally stop, and precede when they have felt comfortable altering their route just enough to give a shot. Anytime filling my lungs with fresh air and watching the real world is time w...

Re: Saddle Hunting

Hopefully I can add something to this thread. I am an arborist and have spent the last 50 years making a living climbing trees, hanging from a rope and harness. If done correctly, it is a good, safe way to get into a tree, offers excellent fall protection and mobility. Once the climbing technique h...

Re: Saddle Hunting

Here's a longtime saddle hunter from my state, interesting. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4FFDUq_bh6A# Good choice on the tethered! I've been doing a bit of research on saddle hunting. But after figuring the cost and the long wait for delivery. And then other climbing gear like steps or climbing ro...
