Re: New models
In reality these days speed sells. Smart move for the industry leaders to have must of us brain washed, as if we can't kill what speeds we already have. As faster models come out people what them. I wont be surprised that Excalibur comes out with something faster but don't see the design changing mu...

Re: Scope speed ring
I don't what that screw does but it certainly doesn't lock the ring!! Once i get the speed ring dialed in to the bow i take my pocket knife and make a small but noticeable mark on the scope even with & just above the white dot. If the ring gets moved i have a reference point. If i change...

Re: New models
my thinking is, if it's not broke, don't fix it. I agree then again I'm not a speed freak, my vortex is more than enough speed than I need. Rather have confindence in where I'm going to put my arrow. These crossbows will also last many year. Still shooting my 20 year Exocet like it was new. If I ca...

Re: Paint
Could try looking into heat paint for wood stoves. Auto paint for engines also. Question is what will the shipping cost you? Check local body shops or stove retailers. I'm sure they be able to get sum from their suppliers. May save you on shipping.

Re: About to pull the trigger...............
I personally went with the vortex, but really, any of the 175 pound crossbows will kill pritty much any north American big game we have. If you want to go higher poundage its just your personal choice. I wanted to try the thumb hole stock for a change and have no regrets. Just had to get adjust usin...
