Hi and welcome , No nocks needed the screw in thread is if you get your bolt stuck and cant remove ,they have a tool that you screw in and pull your bolt out.

Gary L, Imarked my scope setting last year when i sighted it in. And my brace height wasnt low. Screws on the topscope mounts and the rings were a little loose and i did tighten them up.
