Well after burning some midnight oil I was able to fix the forum so new members can register and the rest of us don't have to log-on every visit. Man this computer stuff can make you go nuts !

I did a few changes on the setup of the forum to see if we can fix this log-in problem. I now have it set that it should automatically log you in unless you don't visit the forum for 30 days or more. These strings are hand made and not always perfectly centered so don't use that as a guide. If you want to check if your cocking method is correct just mark the serving with white-out or marker on each side of the mainframe before you cock it and see where it ends up once cocked. Just waxing the serving is fine and actually that is what we recommend. Waxing the entire string is o.k. too but not really required since the friction happens only on the serving area.
