Re: Boltcutter Broadheads dont fit?
You are asking a question when most of us are working for a living so hence the lack of very quick answers. Like Hi5 said patience! I've that that on various other broadheads an it is usually the threads in the inserts that are either burred or not cut perfectly. Your best bet is to run a tap and c...

How to wax?
How do you wax your crossbow? I have the excalibur little container of wax. I have never waxed my crossbow yet. I have taken maybe 30 shots with it since I bought it back in the spring, when it was waxed by the dealer. It was sighted in already and its right where I want it to be. I will be shooting...

Trips Booked
After months of research here and there, I am booked for the following trips. Note, I have also bought a crossbow (Excalibur Vortex to expand my hunting). I live in New York, 50 miles north of NYC (shotgun county only for deer). Going to give NJ a try this October 2011 hunting with the crossbow for ...

Re: Serving Wax or not
I bought the excalibur wax. I only shoot like 4-5 shots a day here and there....so should I keep waxing it after everytime I use it? I have taken under 15 shots so far across 3 separate days (not in a row). I havent applied any wax yet, since I can still feel the wax on the string that the guy appli...

Re: Serving Wax or not
the bigger question is how often to wax? I've heard everything from every 10 shots, to every 50-60 shots, etc?

XBowsplus.com
I just wanted to give props to Xbowsplus.com. I ordered a bunch of stuff at great prices compared to Cabelas, etc. Everything came exactly as I ordered and in great shape. I didnt have to pay for shipping either. Lastly, the T-Puller worked great, I got that stuck fieldpoint tip out of my target eas...

Re: De-Cocking Arrows
2 questions....1. how do you uncock it using ropes?
2. if you shoot a field point into the ground, is the arrow wasted? I would hate to waste a carbon firebolt at the end of everyday.

De-Cocking Arrows
Anybody use special arrows to shoot at the end of the day? I am from NY, but headed to NJ and PA this year to hunt with my Xbow, so the property isn't mine and Im not going to lug a target in with me each day. What type of arrow/head should I carry with me to de-cock my Xbow at the end of the day? I...

Re: Fpoint stuck in target?
I use the Rage 2 broadheads and don't pratice with them or shoot them into a target...just into deer! :) I have the Excalibur crossbow target that I use for my field tips. It stops the arrows perfectly and you can pull 'em out with no effort at all. I havent seen an Excalibur Xbow target....where's...
