after awhile you won't worry about noise! all xbows make noise. to kill noise you kill fps.

I run bare excal's, shoot 30 and under, no problems! each to there own!

ya don't need dissapater bars to hunt deer. that brown bear at $595.00 is a great deal.

2 Does, and my Buck. I used a newer 06 short draw Vixen, Gold Tip 75/95 shafts cut to 16" and 17" both with Blaser vanes and 125 ST 125 magnums. Small Doe from the ground at about 12-14 yards double lung went down at the shot got up and stumbled maybe walked 15 yards. Excellent blood trail...

I've always been amazed by deer. Sometimes a good ground level double lung shot will result in a 10 yard tip over or a dead sprint for 80+ yard death run. This year for me theye've been close recoveries under 50 yards on 3 deer with the Vixen and 125 magST's on 16" bolts. All were pass throughs...

It is slowing here. Does seem to be in heat so you can catch a Buck between Does. Movement my last 2 times out was slow.

It always seems the same here for me, last few days of oct. till nov. 8-9th are my best. I took my Buck Nov. 4th.
