have I ever had a company stand behind their product like Primos!! Okay, a little back story. I got a hell of a deal from a buddy on a Primos Double Wide Double Bull blind.. I had a busted rod a few years back and called them, they sent a free hub assembly in the mail for free as this blind is cover...

Re: Range Finders
absolutely.. i think i am the only one in our group that does, and seemingly i hardly ever miss deer... lol.. to me we owe it to our game to make a clean ethical kill.. i have a practice i do.. when i range my area ( certain trees, stumps, etc) i first guess what the yardage will be... than i take m...

high wind hunt update
so i have to admit, after hearing of stories of success we decided on hunting this morning.. wind wasn't as bad as we thought, although there were a few gusts the lead to some white knuckle tree stand moments.. but all in all, we saw 16 deer , and i had a nice doe at 32 yards... i saw her skirting t...

Re: Why did you buy an X-bow?
well, for me it was my shoulders.. i am a decent sized guy ( 6'2" and 245lbs) and never had any issues before drawing high poundage bows and holding steady for a good while.. but 6 years ago i had major surgery on my left shoulder to repair damage from multiple posterior dislocations... got a c...

Re: hunting in high winds
Location ! If'en you live n hunt an area that has those winds alot, the deer will move in it. Here high winds means a weather front is movin in & they lay low n wait it out yeah, i have hunted in poor conditions and noticed they don't move as much.. but, that being said, we have a creek / ditch...

hunting in high winds
normally i wouldn't hunt in winds more than 30 km/hr, and tomorrow is going to be 30 km/hr but some gusts up to 50 km/hr.. i don't anticipate much deer movement but seeing how it's the last day of the season, me and a buddy are going to head out for the morning... i have heard people say they've kil...

another good sit
me and one of my hunt buddies were back at it this morning.. got set up and what a difference... with the warm temps and rain, there is hardly any snow left in the bush at all.. sure made spotting the deer tough.. we did finally see something a little after 8 am... i heard a bunch of noise to my lef...

we got 3 happy kids... wife and I don't buy for each other, we don't need anything really.. we would rather spend our time and money giving the kids a better Christmas.. I do want ( not need, yet) another bow and will getting a new ( or great used shape) excalibur maybe next year, but I will buy it....

Re: lots of deer, no shot
There is nothing unethical about a guy hunting legally on his own land. Nothing. That is not a place to go... maybe not .. all i know is if I walked in past someone already set up, I would have more respect than to set up 70 yards from them.. maybe i have a different set of ethics than others, mayb...

Re: London Cop Shot With a Crossbow
yes, either that or it was a crossbow that was not up to specs for hunting ( like the handgun style or modified to be more easily concealed?)... should be interesting to find out why they classified it as a prohibited weapon... or maybe they were banned from owning any weapons at all, that could pos...
