Equinox versus micro mag 340
Hi everyone, I have been using an equinox for years and I am thinking of getting a smaller limb bow for smaller blinds. I can use my rope puller on the equinox ok, but was wondering how much tougher if any the pull of the micro mag 340 would be. My equinox is less poundage but a longer pull than the...

Strength needed to cock 340 axe vs others
Hello everyone, I am looking to get a new crossbow, but with most stores still closed, I can’t the Axe 340 to see if I can pull it back with a regular string puller versus a crank type of aid. I have a Matrix 380 that I have to use a crank, but I also have an equinox that I don’t need a crank to coc...

Can an Eotech EXPS 2 hybrid sight be mounted on the stock mounting area of a 380 Matrix? Just wondering.
Thanks

Re: Thermal imaging scope for crossbow
I was thinking a thermal scope would also help you find a hog that is down after the shot. Looking for a thermal of a hog laying down 40 yards away may be easier than following a blood trail with a flashlight.

Thermal imaging scope for crossbow
Anyone try one of these? I've seen a few posts around about night vision scopes. Just wondering, and if so, which ones? I would think they would be helpful finding a hog shot at dusk as well.

Re: heavier arrow with lighter broadhead
So any flight/performance differences between a 300 grain arrow with a 150gr broadhead versus a 350gr arrow with a 100gr broadhead? Is there a big difference?
Thanks
Thanks

heavier arrow with lighter broadhead
Which is better and why. 280gr arrow with 125gr broadhead or a 305gr arrow with a 100gr broadhead. Is there much difference in performance or does it just open up more options for broadheads since there are more 100gr broadheads out there? Total arrow weight is the same.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Lighter faster arrow versus heavier arrow
Thanks for the help! I may try the spynal tapp arrows that Jerry has for a total weight with broadhead in the 435-455gr range I think. Will 50-60 grains make a big enough difference versus the 380gr I am shooting now?

Lighter faster arrow versus heavier arrow
I have been shooting my matrix 380 with zombie slayers with the 150grain boltcutter broadheads. Total arrow weight is 380g. Arrows are 18" length. I was looking at the ram cat broadheads (125g fixed blades are the heaviest I believe. What I've read, I may be better off with a heavier/longer arr...

Dr. Stirrup satisfied user
Just a quick reply to those wondering if it is worth the money. Yes it is! I have trouble getting my foot in the factory foothold, and this new device makes cocking the bow much easier. I would also add that my bow is also quieter now as well with the add ons. Lastly, on a flat surface it will stand...

Dr. Stirrup use versus stock stirrup
I own both an equinox and matrix 380 now. I was wondering if when you use the Dr. Stirrup stirrup, do you use only 1 foot on it and still try to cock the crossbow off to the side, so if your grip slips, it is not coming directly at your body? Or do you use both feet and keep the bow directly in the ...
