Re: First crossbow set-up and sighting
The scopes that came with my two Axiom kits did not have speed rings they had cheverons for 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards ,some what like a tacical scope. When I had the 20 yard mark sighted in, with the supplied arrows and tips ,it was on at each cheveron. The Firebolts are carbon, I took the factor...

Re: Wonder if anyone has had luck with Muzzy
From what I hear muzzy is very crossbow friendly, but the company is not. For that reason a muzzy shall never touch my crossbow. Or my compound for that matter. I have read the same thing before on this forum ,but I also see them as sponsers for some excalibur hunting shows [Deer city U.S...

Re: Wonder if anyone has had luck with Muzzy
I shot Muzzys for years from My V-bow,had very good results .This is my first year with X-bow ,so I've been playing around alot with them and Rage 2 , By spin checking them and by shooting them with a different cock feather down until I get them flying good about a 3" group at 40 yards and same...

Re: Thought i would get more feed back on the cat whiskers
Strum your post got me thinking, then Rufus mentioned yarn. I used yarn for over 30 years on all my v-bows, so this morning I tried it .It made a big difference, My wife thought I was shooting my v-bow , All she heard was a thud when the bow went off and one when the arrow hit the target, Before sh...

58 days before I head west . Axiom is sighted in to 50 yards [My limit is 40]. I'm walking about 4 miles a day, most of my hunting stuff is cleaned and ready. About the only things I need to do , is to check out my wall tent ,get new tires for My truck, lose another 10 lb's and WAIT!!!!!

Re: New X-Bow Owner with a question (hard case)
Welcome. You made a great choice on your X-bow. I love My axiom. When I'm not shooting or tinkering with it , I'm thinking about it. Lucky thing My wife isn't the jealous type. I have a soft case for mine for short trips , but I have taken the riser off and used my old vertical hard case . It takes l...

So how did those rage's shoot I don't know yet, it's been raining since monday. I have to work late on friday and saturday I will be going to a pig roast half way across the state. If I get the yard work done after church I MIGHT shoot them late on Sunday. I'll let you know then ,maybe!

Re: PICKED SOME UP
Thanks guys I knew I could count on you . A bow shooting club was handing out anti x-bow sheets , and these people read off it line per line . When you tell them they don't shoot 1 in. groups at 100 yd's [My rifle might on a VERY good day] Or most newer V-bows shoot faster ,or they have triggers and...
