Re: Best Sling for an Excalibur Axiom?
WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF EXCALIBUR :D :D :D I tried the excal sling, found it built very well, but did fined it to make alittle to much sound & on longer walks it slips around alittle to much on my shoulder for me. IMHO Bought a claw, and really like it, tends to stay where put on shoul...

Re: New Ibex is a'coming
Bought an ibex for the wife last year, she loves it, she got a 4 point with it. I've shot it many, many times, & I like it to.....When shooting my vortex, I think it's the better one, then when I'am shooting the ibex I think it's the better one. ....And I can tell ya she'll never give it ...

Re: RE: the RE: Fox news thread
I try really hard to stay out of the REP vs DEM thing, IMO I find politicians in both parties to have a lack honor, they speak in half truths if not down right lies, it feels like I work for them, they don't work for me. We the goverment, by the goverment, for the goverment, etc. etc. But it's just ...

Re: Thinking of .....
DaGriz ...... Seeing you asked, my opinion would be, it's your money & time in building a knife, you make the contest & pick the winner anyway you like, and it "SHOULD" be just fine with everyone. And if someone has a problem with it....maybe they should take a good, long, look at ...

Re: recurve
IMHO The Bear recurve/longbow line is on the right track getting better under there new ownership, & seem to be making some very nice bows now, (seems there was some problems in the past) looks to me there getting back to building bows like in the 60's - The grizzly line seem nice & the supe...

Re: Fill me in on the Axiom package
Check out some past post here, think someone was saying the rail is the same kind of stuff there building guns from, very strong. I can tell you the local dealer sells alot of them, with no problems, & from what I've been reading, seems everyone who has one likes it, I've shot a few axiom's &...

Re: Hunting Shooting Position
What is your typical shooting position when hunting? How much do you practice from this position? I hunt from the ground and shoot from a sitting position with elbows on knees or I use a mono-pod. Leading up to deer season this is how I practice. But to evaluate different arrows etc. I shoot from a...

Re: Acceptable Accuracy ?
OH...I forgot.....I seem to notice...Maybe it's just me..I'am not the sharpest broadhead out there.....But it seems the accuracy of the ibex seems a touch better at 20 yards then the vortex & past 30 yards the vortex seems a touch better then the ibex.......It is hardly noticable...just seems th...

Re: Acceptable Accuracy ?
Acceptable accuracy, has changed for me, when I first got the excal's & shooting in my hunting position (seated, or kneeing on one knee, with elbow resting on my knee), my goal was the 2 - 4 inches @ the 20 - 40 yards. & I was very happy with that :D Then one day I shot using rail of my truc...
