Well i have gotten 2 with the x-acts and am happy the only thing changing in this s cenario is the addition of lumenocks, worried about it adding to much weight (14gr) to the back end making it less stable.

OK just ordered some lumenoks and firebolts without rear inserts from dan miller, my question is has anyone used the x-act broadhead on firebolts with lumenok and WITHOUT brass insert? Was wondering if i need to put a brass washer or 2 on the front of them. I know stock firebolt is 266 grains and ac...

I am using X-acts on stock firebolts and love them. FOC ends up about 13% with completely stock setup.
The 2 i have hit deer with both went into ground i am confident with a little honing they will be good to go again. I think that all depends on the ground they are going into.

My axiom scope got to dan miller's today, sent in for warranty, now i have to wait patiently, but i think it will be worth it, I am upgrading to shadowzone!!

my axiom scope fogged, called dan and without a second thought he told me to send it in. It is shipping today, am actually paying a little toupgrade to the shadowzone with illumnated reticle, and no dan (like some places do) didn't push that i asked.

nuttin wrong with that, its about puttin meatin the freezer! as for me i have a few stands like that where if you have a shot it is waaaaay close and figure on ruining meat with rifle shot. those are the ones i plan to use CB even once rifle opens. BUT there are a couple of stands that i can't wait ...

I got lucky and found a guy that had 50# bag shelled or 100# bag of cob for 7.50 each. Bought a 40 bags (1 ton) shelled and 10 bags (1/2 ton) of cob. total $375. I have been VEEEERY spraring with it trying to save the majority for oncwe the acorns are gone!

I have used the same stuff, works great and you can spruce it up with twigs and brush cut on site!
