I saw a parade today!!!
I was beginning to wonder what the occasion was today, because i had the pleasure of watching a parade of deer about 60 yards from my stand. Literally every time i thought that has to be all of them here would come another group, this lasted about 90 minutes! All total i would say about 30 deer went...

Re: Crossbow Accident
I believe i remember a couple people on here saying they felt the pressure from a broadhead as they started to un-cock their crossbow, but i am like the rest cocking it with an arrow in it. I am sure my list of "dumbest moments with a crossbow" will start to add more than just aiming at sa...

Experience and P.A.D.'s
A comment in a recent post got me thinking, Of course we never plan to dryfire but of course it can and does happen. How much experience did you have with Xbows at the point of your most recent P.A.D. (dryfire) As a follow up tell us at what point you had your first if you have had more than one I s...

Re: New to Crossbow game! Please help!
This is my first year xbow (bowhunting period actually) hunting, i am sticking with full excal setup. stock string, firebolts and X-act mechanicals. I think the final weight ends up at 366 and shoots pretty much same POI as 100gr FP's. My advice though, zero with the broadheads to make sure, don't a...

Re: Couldn't find my 8 pointer
Bill, don't be too hard on yourself, you had a well timed and planned shot (albeit a little long) and it sounds like for the deer to have come back it was relaxed. I have known many people to hit a shoulder at 20 yards and never be able to find their deer. In another post people are not saying one t...
