Re: New
Welcome to Excalibur. I bought the Axiom last fall, & I was equally amazed at how accurate it is. The very 1st deer I shot with it was a shot thru the heart thats how good it is. Cant wait to get out with it again next year. Good Luck.

Re: Identify this string
That string looks like it needs a few (actually several  ) twists before installing it! Yeah I had to put alot of twists in mine, I set it so it was at the top of the brace height & it stretched so much it dropped below the brace height,so I ended up taking it off & putting a few more...

Re: S5 Question
I didnt notice that on mine.Make sure the bumper is pushed on all the way. If the string isn't touching the bumpers I wouldn't think it would affect accuracy,by the time the string hits the bumper the arrow has left the string behind. Now if the string is touching it might cause it to throw the arrow...

Re: Coming To A Store Near You!
I wonder if it has optional Chains for they're boots so they get better traction in the heavy snow. I posted it on my FB with the head of my Mother In Law on it,I probably wont score any Browny Points for that one.

I fletched my Blazers with an offset & helical. They worked great at helping my Muzzy 125 fixed blades fly right.

I use the Muzzy 125 fixed 3 blade, they fly great hit the same hole as my FPs.But I did have to refletch my arrows with 2" Bohning Blazers to get them to fly right. My 1st shot with my new Axiom I shot a deer thru the heart with them. I got a 6pk on Ebay brand new for $21

Re: Redneck Shootin Bench
whats the saying? "necessity is the mother of invention" or something like that. Great Idea.I've seen them & that thought never came to mind. I'll have to keep an eye out for one. Just add a few sand bags to rest the stock on. Good job.

Re: New to Crossbows.
I am going to get a Excalibur for sure. But what company makes a hard case for it? Thanks. I believe Plano makes a hard case to fit the Excalibur here is a link to the website http://www.planomolding.com/2011/05/1133-manta%E2%84%A2-crossbow-case/ Its in the Excalibur newsletter they say it fits all...

Re: "Ode To A Bush"
you got that right, I missed a monster buck years ago because one jumped in front of my arrow deflecting it over the bucks back.Big58cal wrote:I know how it did it. Somehow those things bend or move right as you shoot! People think they're sweet and innocent, but I know differently!

Re: Broadhead Question
I was having trouble getting my Muzzy 125 Fixed 3 blade to fly good with the factory vanes on the Firebolts.I checked everything. Finally I refletched my arrows with 2" Bohning Blazer vanes & they now hit the same hole as my Field pts. I installed the Bohnings with an offset & a helical...
