Re: Last Review: Ol West BBQ and Dippin Sauce
It's always like that with me for spices and sauces. Find a new one and it's the best thing since smoked sausage. Put it on everything for a while then it doesn't seem to be the same, then find a new one and it starts over.

I've had reasonably good luck with Covert MP8 Black. Still pics or video. Eight AA last a season or more.

Re: I HATE ticks!!!!!!!!!!!
Those sound like good resources, especially the med lab. With my work I'm quite often out in the bush. More common to have ticks a couple of times a week than to not have them. Permethrine spray from waist down and wearing high boots and having all clothes tucked in helps a lot. Also hold up arms an...

Re: Where did "smoked" come from?
Where I live in North Florida the taking of an animal has always been referred to most commonly as having "killed" it. When in non-hunting company, a lot of people might say "got". Complete non-hunters will usually ask if I "caught" anything as if I had set a trap for i...

Great turkey.
I see a lot of injuries from fighting, so that is my guess. See it a lot with the wild hogs also.

Sounds like a fun trip.
Would have been cool to have a scull mount with the bolt still sticking out.
I've heard of people using knives and Spears when hog hunting with dogs but I've never done it.

Re: OT: Polish Hunter Sausage
Looks great. Fun to try sausage seasonings but the problem is when we get a bunch of meat to process, we are in too big of a hurry to try new things. Might just pick up a couple of Boston butts when they are on sale just to experiment with.

Re: What's a shooter to you?
Depends on mood that day. Usually try to hold out for at least 3 1/2 year old bucks. Sometimes just wait for a really big one we have on camera. Does are one per day on doe days, but didn't even shoot one this year.

Seems there is always someone around that has to put you down. Perhaps because they are jealous. Perhaps just because they are jerks. Sounds your doing great so I wouldn't worry about it.
