Re: O/T - Canadian Gun Registry - Your Thoughts?

I've received this email several times through the years. I did a search for it on the internet and found it today. If you haven't seen it before, copy and paste the info into an email and send it to any of your friends/family. As the saying goes, "Those who do not learn from history are doome...

Re: O/T - Canadian Gun Registry - Your Thoughts?

I am glad it is going the way of the DoDo bird . Wasted money , far too many mistakes , far to much personal information floating around . As far as the registry helping find stolen guns --- another laugh . My residence way broken into way back in 85 or 86 . The little @#@@#$%#@ made of with a numb...

You can also order them directly from Primos as well if you prefer to get them direct.

Re: One limb got a splinter

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear about the splinted limb. You definately want to wait for a replacement before taking it out again, but that sorta goes without saying.

Hope you can get it sorted out in time - it'll be close but doable!

Re: The hardest shot i never took..

Thumbs up for showing great hunting sportsmanship and etiquette out there Strum. He was not what you were after and you stuck to it. It drives me absolutely up the walls when I see and read of stories of ppl who’ll take home anything they can get their hands on when I am positive, with month(s) long...

Re: Archery vs gun season

Three to five per year!!!

Heck we get one tag per person up here and you're lucky to bring one home. Mind you our deer population is nowhere near those of the northern US states, so our game management reflects that of course.

Welcome to the board Marc!

Can't go wrong with any of the Excal as everyone as already said. I went with the Equinox and can't say enough great things about it.

Re: moose hunting

That's the combo we use (all of my hunting partners have an Equinox) and it works mighty fine on Moose! Good shot placement and fair distance is key, as usual.

Re: Equinox WOW!

You certainly can't go wrong with the Primos shooting stick. I love mine! You can, as xbowholic suggested, use a strap, like you would with a rifle. It really works great as well. I guess it'll depend from where you'll be shooting from. Ground blind while sitting, while walking and stalking, from a ...

Re: Anyone Know About "Sail" Hunting Stores?

I can not find the link to Lebaron"s anymore. I think it came up with it when I did the google search. As far as the LeBaron name goes, I heard that the former owners last name is Le Baron. Cheer http://www.lebaron.ca/english/main.htm What R/W meant was that there was a mention, on Sail's own ...

Re: ST5

This is crazy. If you are referring to the two rubber things, then my equinox came with them. I have scoured the papers that came with my package and it doesn't say anything about them. But the two rubber things are on there. WS It does indeed now come with the package deal on the Equinox - saved $...

Your local store reference – Promote your local favourite !

Seeing how a lot of us will travel across Canada and the US for our hunting trips, I thought that it would be a good idea to start a thread in hopes of creating a list of local stores that you feel represent the best there is locally, which more often then anything are the mom & pop’s store that...
