Re: Bolt/Arrow Spine Optimization
Aluminum arrows are the same 360 around.May not be as durable as carbon for target shooting, but from one arrow to the other there the same.Be hard pressed to find straighter, more consistent arrows than xx78 or xx75 2216 arrows.Cheaper to!

Re: Finally shot my 330 today. Mixed feelings.
My Vortex is 28.75 wide when cocked . According to an earlier post a 330 is 26.87 cocked and a 355 is 26.25 cocked . By my math that makes a 330 only 1.88 narrower than a Vortex . Divide that by 2 and you get .94 which is a little less than an inch on each side . That aint much ! That is why I am g...

Hi, I'm new to crossbows. Just purchased an Excalibur Axiom. I'd like to make my own bolts. With aluminum rod, what grade and diameter is preferable? Is 6061 aluminum a good choice? 3/8" diameter? You want to use 2216 xx75 magnum shafts. You can get these on eBay for $ 40.00 put inserts in bot...

Re: Is Matrix noticeably Narrower
I went from an exomax to a matrix 380 and the difference in width is VERY noticeable. That being said your Vixen has enough juice to take down anything you shoot at. If the width is an issue for you I strongly recommend a matrix. The 330 being the most compact. Does the Matrix seris use the same li...
