thanks, i was not to sure and bolts cost to much.. All i have is my Vortex and Px4 storm. thanks again, guess ill just have to wait for my Rabbit gumbo :?

O/T Hunting with 45 ACP

Im thinking i might use my Berretta Px4 Storm 45 to do some small game hunting but my brother thinks it would not leave much clean meat say on a rabbit. Anyone ever try it? would hate to kill a rabbit and not be able to have meat from it.. i kill only what i would eat... thanks

thanks again for all the great info. This past season i just hunted on my 10 acres but next season ill be on 50 acres. Its still not a whole lot of acres but it butts up to the national forest . Its 1000s of acres i would guess :shock:

thanks, I did start late and it was kinda my fault . I did try to find her but being my first blood trail and all, its all good though. Even though she did not put meat in my freezer, at least we did find her. i did see a big 8+ point but did not have a good clean shot on him so had to let him walk....

Well, Just got back from Benton Shooter's . Got the S5 system put on my Vortex along with a few Pro Gold Bolts. Now all that is left is a 2 person ladder stand (im about 350lbs) and that is about it.. Can't wait till next season. This is my first deer hunting season and my first Crossbow . Im so gla...

Anyone cook coon? could you tell me how you did and was it good? thanks, have a buddy bring some coon meat and we never cooked/tried it before. He always just skinned them but is wanting to try to eat them thanks for the info

corn is a no go (not legal to hunt over bate in tnn) i think im going to just sit on my front porch more and see. stranger things have happened lol :roll:

Checking on the corn. Ill just pick up the blind and not hunt rest of season. Next season i will be better set up i hope. Again thanks for all the help
