Why is there no thumbhole vixen model? Every other
level has them. Can we expect one in 2013?

Re: Blazer Vanes Questions
Re: buying blazers from Canada I usually by them on EBay through bullseye feathers in the U.S.. I pay 11.95 for packs of 100 + 3.95 shipping. that's about 16 cents per vane. I have never had to pay any tariffs. You can also purchase them in smaller single colour packs or packs of various colours. Ch...

Re: alum arrows
It's been said before but I will say it again: carbon arrows can warp or bend. Sometime back I posted a picture of one that did. But to each his or her own. As far as I know the straightest arrow available is the XX78 superslam. Buying bare shafts and making your own arrows keeps them at a reasonabl...

Re: Old bow hunter gonna try the Axiom
If you are going to target shoot a lot I would suggest
getting a pair of danny miller arrow puller pliers.
It's been one of my best purchases yet. Danny is super to talk to and in answering questions. Enjoy the
axiom and don't worrry much about the noise factor!

Looks great! Wish I was there! But not far away at
Sharbot lake for another family and friends gathering

Re: vertical bow guys hating on crossbows
The irony is that crossbows have been around for thousands of years, the compound a few decades. Some American special forces in Laos found tribal people using an ancient form of crossbow that probably preceeded the Chinese version. Let's respect all forms of bow. As a kid I shot a long bow. Now I s...

Re: Best Sling for an Excalibur Axiom?
I have been using an accelerator sling by Browning
on my phoenix. It works well for me. I like wrapping
it around my forearm for added support when shooting off hand--especially at 3d shoots.

E-Bay X 2. I think I got 100 packs for far less than
18.00 dollars. Of course there is shipping & handling
watch out for that. Be sure to buy the 2010 version.
They work well for me and a couple of people I fletch
for.

Re: Got My Arrow Fletched & Ready To Go
Nothing wrong with that FOC. Read Dr. Ed. Ashby's
2008 Study update, Part 6 for some interesting
facts and observations. For example: "Earlier testing...has shown that from 19% FOC upwards
there is a measurable gain in arrow penetration."

didn't California just bring in a gun registry? Maybe they
should have looked at the Canadian experience first.

Carbon arrows can bend and warp too! Just ask Boo.
I like the 2216 Easton superslams. They are made of
a superior aluminum alloy and and are one of the
staightest arrows on the market
