Empty Place at the Table (off topic)
We have a family member in the navy. His first year in and he won't be here for Christmas this year. Luckily he will get here this week. Please remember our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters that are stationed or on duty today. Be it fire, paramedics, cops or service personnel ...

Know the head games of losing a job. Super that you have landed on your feet. "Good things happen to good people" I truly believe that. Your mom's illness must have put even more emotional load on you. Hope that works out well, and a Merry and Blessed Christmas and a great 2014 to you and ...

Re: Don't Forget Your Compass
I never go without my compass on it's lanyard around my neck, a bic lighter in my pocket and "AA" flashlight on my belt. I may get excited trailing a deer or moose and leave my pack behind. Hunting or fishing. 40 years ago ice fishing on Rondeau bay in a shanty. Fog rolled in and had to st...

Re: Arrow pullers are necessary!!!!
Danny's pullers look great but I welded a piece of steel on a fieldpoint so it's a "T". I screw it in the insert in the fletching end of the bolt and pull. So far has worked well and cheap

Re: A question for the hunting gurus...
I've seen bare ground under red oaks and finally figured out it was turkey's. Scratch marks but no hoof prints gave it away. Any possibility this is what you're seeing this early?

Re: Is this true?
I've been shooting my carved tip Exomag about 20 years and all I shoot is 125 grain. When I bought mine I got it from Bill at the factory and at that time Wasp 125 grain cam locks were the recommended broadhead. Don't know about 50 yard shots but up to 40 are accurate. BTW I keep all my shots at dee...

Re: We have a member in the hospital
Give him some time. The incisions and the sternum hurt for the first few weeks. Grumpiness goes with hurt. It's nothing personal, It hurts to move, breathe deep and cough and you've got to so the lungs clear and expand. Best wishes and heal well brother, in 3 months you'll be a lot better and best o...

Re: We have a member in the hospital
Prayers sent. I had a double bypass last Sept. Scary at the time, not so much now. Just remember they're working with something we need. I more pray for a good recovery.

Re: Carved tips
My carved tip Exomag is almost 20 years old and I won't part with it. Still shoots and works like it did new. Had a trigger issue and Excalibur repaired it free and even paid the return shipping.
