Re: Spare Limbs
In general a higher deflection limb set will shoot faster than those with lower deflection numbers. Personally I wouldn't care whether I received a hot set or not. All limb sets will be within spec for your bow to shoot as advertised speeds.

Re: Re-serve or let it go?
Get a serving tool, some serving material and build yourself a jig. Next time you have this situation you'll only be down for 10 mins. I like to have at least 3 or 4 strings so I don't have to get all my stuff out to reserve just one string.

Re: Scope rail modification
Looks great and should be a good solution to the screws working loose as well. Any chance you have part/item #s handy of what you ordered?

Re: It's happened..one week old micro...
Welcome to the forum! Stick around and your bound to learn a thing or two. For the record if I thought my limb(s) were in the process of breaking I would unload and decock not shoot an arrow. Also, unrelated to your limb issue - I'd ditch the rail lube. I feel it just collects dirt and makes the ser...

Re: Scope Shims - Ideas?
I hear you! Time for serious business is upon us. There's no time to mess around with unsure setups. For the record I do think the offset inserts would give you enough adjustment to zero. I used +10 and -10 inserts on my Micro to bring the back up and front down so I could get more elevation for lon...

Re: String builders; choosing a string material
Ok if soft shooting without losing a ton of speed is the goal, is Astro Flight the best option?

Re: String builders; choosing a string material
Is there any truth to materials like Brownells Astro Flight claiming to be softer shooting? If so would this equate to less vibration/shock/noise from the bow?

String builders; choosing a string material
Alright forum community string builders, I would love to hear all of your thoughts on string material and the reasons for choosing the material(s) you use. I have tried making my own flemish strings in the past but had difficulty getting the loops dia and string oal consistently the right size. I'm ...
