Re: Fixed Blade Search
I just purchased some VPA vented 100s but haven't had a chance to let them fly due to all the white stuff... I will say they appear to be of good quality although a little pricey. This talk of warranty on another forum led me to the purchase but I was supprised to see there is no mention of any warr...

Re: Considering a 405 be Honest With Yourself
I have never been one to obsess over having the fastest bow available even though that seems to be a popular trend in modern archery. At 5'8" I feel I am at my limit with the 355 Matrix on draw Length and the speed is plenty for me. Anything longer and I have to strain a little (short arms mayb...

Re: Matrix Barrel Question
I"m curious about this also but I'd like to take my 355 down to a 330 with a barrel swap (I don't want to cut my rail down). I wonder if Danny Miller will have barrels for sale after the complete bows are on the market of course.

Re: Leupold VX-R
Does anyone know of the flip caps, as I have the VXR 1.25-4 (20mm) and can't seem to find anything to protect the lens while your walking to your posts etc If anyone has something, let me know Thx Take a look at Leupold Alumina Flip Up covers in their "Tools and Accessories" linup. They a...

Re: Rangefinder Dilema
I would say if you can swing the Leupold go for it. I have a Leupold RX 600 that has been great for several years now. This year I decided to get a second range finder; one with a display you can read when its dawn/dusk. I started looking at the Leupold RX 1000 but unfortunately I got cheap and boug...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
I read on a different forum that these broadheads whistle giving the deer enough warning to run and be well clear of the arrow before it ever reaches them!
I'd like to give them a try though, I'll just have to find deaf deer to shoot at.

Re: Made My first Strings Today
I too wouldn't mind learning how to make my own Flemish strings. I've searched the net a few times but there seems to be very little info that is crossbow specific. I like the idea of being self sufficient and it would give me something to do when I travel for work (other than browse Xbow forums... ;)

Re: Bow fishing with a crossbow?
Pydpiper what is the draw weight of that bow? And other than the reel and special arrow is there anything physically different on that bow compared to a regular compound? Bow fishing definitely looks like a good time. I think I need to give it a try next year.

Re: Bow fishing with a crossbow?
No experience with bow fishing here but wouldn't even the lowest draw weight Excals be way too much for bow fishing??

Re: Matrix 355 Case??
Been wanting a better fitting case for the matrix. I have the Excal deluxe soft case and its way too sloppy for my liking. I'm about to pull the trigger on the tarantula but I noticed the length listed as 42". Is the case 7" longer than it needs to be for the 355? Cheapest I've found is he...

I just broke down and bought a new T/C Bone Collector Muzzleloader that will be in Friday (hope, hope, hope). :) Did you get it from cabelas by chance? I just ordered one this morning. ;) I've been wanting one and just couldn't p...

Check your local gander mountain if you haven't already. Its the only place I've found it local to me.
