Humbled By My New Vortex
Well to I went out for the third time to shoot my new Vortex and frankly I haven't been happy with my Goldtip Laser II arrows because I couldn't get them to group, I had 2 maybe 3 good arrows out of 6 that would group at 40 and 50 yards off the bench. Well I found out this afternoon it wasn't my aro...

Re: Carbon Express® Maxima Hunter® Crossbolt Carbon Crossbow
I was going to buy the Carbon Express Maxima also until I was on Archery talk this week and saw a post where a company had Carbon Express CX Crossbolts on sale for $18.49 per 6 pack plus shipping, this is an awesome deal because there are normally double that. I ordered a dozen of them and shipping ...

Re: Ontario Boxing Day Buck
Congrats on the nice buck and way to go using your calls, its great to call a deer to you and be able to make a kill on it. Its also awesome to get your kids involved they will be hooked. If you don't get a shot at the other big buck he will be a giant next year. Good Luck

Re: crossbow rage 125
I have killed 9 deer with my compound with the 100 gr. 3 blade Rage in the last 2 years they are an awesome broadhead because they shoot right with my field points. The only issue with them is changing blades because that is a pain. I just received my Vortex before Christmas so I didn't get to try o...

Re: My 1st Excalibur Whitetail Doe
Congrats Highbow on your sweet harvest. I will have to wait until next year to try my new Vortex out. I know it was an awesome feeling killing a deer that quick with your new crossbow that surely will make your confidence level shoot through the roof with your new crossbow. I know there are a lot of...

Re: What a morning!
Congrats on your big doe and your patience, maybe the Ten pointer will be bigger next year and offer you a shot. The majority of our deer after a 5 week gun season are just about scared to death and the majority of trail cam pictures are all at night. Happy New Year

Re: Shoulder upate
Sounds like the surgery went well, hang in there it takes time. I've had 2 officers that had shoulder surgeries and it took several months to get them back up to full speed.

Re: Which model is best for arthritic hunters
Glad to have you on the Forum. The Vixen II is the a great crossbow as like all Excalibur crossbows. I would try and go to a shop and try to pull a few and shoot them and see how they feel. I would also watch the Instructional video by Excalibur where they show you everything about your crossbow inc...
