AJ I've been using this safe recipe for about 20 years on the land we hunt, now all our feed stores carry the the Di calium before no one around here had it.

Re: Thinking about buying a smoker
Don I have a 30 inch Masterbuilt Electric Smoker I've been using it for 4 years now with zero complaints. There's a lot of great You Tube videos out there with some great recipes. I use different wood for different things I smoke. Boston Butts I use Hickory and Apple or Cherry, Salmon I use Hickory,...

Re: Do you feed them through the year?
I feed corn at my house year round and keep cameras going also, I like watching them grow throughout the summer and into the fall to help me decide which deer I'm going after. On my hunting club property that I've had leased for 24 years I feed corn before deer season and a couple months after seaso...

Re: Turkey Practice
My Vortex will have 2” green Swhackers and Hannah will be shooting 1.75” crossbow Swhackers from the Vixen… both with 20” Zombies. I’m limiting her to a max 20 yard shot. I'm pretty sure I won't use mechanicals again or at least big mechanicals. The turkeys I shot with the G5 Magnums only went 20 y...

That's an awesome buck I'm glad he made it hopefully you'll get another crack at him. I had a picture last year in January also of a 9 pt that had disappeared during deer season and showed back up after the season was over I thought he had been killed, He ended up growing bigger into a nice 12 pt th...

Re: Lethality comparison...4 blade 1&3/16 cut vs 3 blade 1&1/2 cut
I used to shoot broadheads a lot and did some penetration testing, I used the Slick Trick Magnums and eventually switched to the bigger Slick Trick Grizztricks 125 gr. to get better blood trials. I like the Grizztrick a lot until I started testing the 3 blade QAD Exodus 125 gr. The QAD Exodus was a ...

Re: Excalibur micro 380 string
I personally would want the longer serving when Danny Miller used to make some Flemish strings for me I always had him serve my string where the serving came past the rubber dampeners so it would keep the fuzzing down where the string impacted the bumpers with extended shooting sessions.

Sig Sauer Romeo 5's are great red dot scopes for the money, and the shake awake and long battery life makes them even better.

It probably doesn't matter if it's right or left helical but I've always used a right helical. I also like the Arizona EZ Fletch for Bolts
