The 405 is the best if...you got one with good limbs.

Yes on small TX deer using a Vortex I had several very alert deer move and twist before impact even at 22 yds. I always aim a little low right at heart just in case.

I use them and have not had any problems in my 405. Just make sure the bands are in good shape and tight.

I've bow hunted since 1979 taken well over 200 big game animals with it, recurve and compound. Honestly just kinda got burnt out on bow hunting. So I just choose to hunt with Xbow right now...its new to me yet familiar.
