Re: Can i buy a Excalibur Matrix 405 Mega without problems?

The fact that Excal has stopped the sale and many dealers stopped sales of the 405, Excal has stopped production of the 405 and replaced it with the 400 bulldog absolutely means they have a problem with the 405...they didn't discontinue the 380 or other matrix lines...just the problem child 405! Bu...

Are you double banding them? And what kind of arrow you shooting an wight
I tested one head shooting it 3 times with the single band it worked all three times, so no on double band. My arrow is 403gr GT laserII with Omni brites.

Re: So the BIG question?

The riser angle is not responsible for the small percentage of limb issues the way I see it. Several areas during the limb making processes were seen as having potential for improvement to eliminate limb issues. Of course, user error, especially new users, cannot be controlled. Well unless Excal co...

So the BIG question?

IF the slightly forward riser of the 380 & 405 is what is causing the limbs to break...which seems to be the fix on 400 rearward design. What does Excal do for us with our design flawed 405's?

Re: Thermal Cameras For Tracking ?????

Don't want to mislead you-I don't use it to see blood on the ground. Flashlight works well for that. But when the blood trail runs out-or forget the blood trail altogether-the pulsar will reveal a warm body much farther than 60 yds- watched a bear cut through the edge of the field at about 150 yard...

Re: Is this normal for a Matrix 405

Yes Sir.. If your right handed like myself, once you relax the limbs with the stringing aid, just reach down undo the right loop and twist counter clock wise. If your string is solid on your bumpers, I would give it two complete twists. I keep mine about 3/16" of an inch to a 1/4" off the...

Re: Stringin Aid

Peter the cabelas in Allen, TX does not have one Excalibur bow that the brace height is remotely close to correct, they are smashing the reds to death by a half inch. Saturday they didn't even have a stringer in stock to upsell. SOOOO many of your bows are being shot right out of the box with this v...
