Re: Pleased with Purchase

I had the same problem with "creep and grinding" with my trigger. I sent mine to Boo and now the trigger works flawlessly. No more "creep and grinding". Boo does great work.

How do you remove the trigger assembly from the stock in order to ship it to Boo?

Re: want your inserts to stay in with carbon arrows?

I tried JB Weld on brass inserts in Gold Tip shafts and they all pulled out. The JB Weld stuck to the inserts OK but not to the shafts. I cleaned the shafts with acetone like the instructions on the JB package said. Glued them in with Gold Tip adhesive and no pullouts yet.

Re: Silencing your Crossbow!

I added limbsavers to the limbs and monkey tails to the string. That really quieted the bow noise. The downside is I lost 12 FPS.

Received my Phoenix back today with the new limbs. Great and speedy service from Exalibur and Dan at Horizontal Archery. What a great company to do business with. My thanks to all involved.

Limb tip

When I unstrung my new Phoenix the right limb tip was loose. Is this normal or should it be glued on?
