Re: Erratic BH flight between bows

Also the ZS is a lot stiffer than the Quill which might be causing the problem. Shoot the Quill through the 380 and see if it flies the same.

Re: C2 crank hook broke

The metal hooks were bad about scratching up the finish on the bows when cocking. I had 2 sets and ended up getting rid of them even after trying mole skin and other stuff on the hooks. I have also had a hook break when cocking an Excalibur.

Re: How do you keep your feet warm?

When it gets under freezing I wear Muck boots with a pair of Merino wool socks and wear a pair of Toasty Toes foot warmers stuck to the bottom on the socks. I never even notice the cold when doing so. I can't use a sleeping bag or anything bulky in a tree stand 25' up a tree.

Re: guardian anti dryfire design flaw.

I think your problem with the movement is the screws under the stock that hold the trigger unit in place. Pull the stock and see if those screws are loose and if they are use blue loctite on them.

Re: Binoculars

A young friend that hunts with me wanted a decent set of binoculars went to Cabelas and tried several and ended up buying the Cabelas Intensity HD 8X42 binoculars for about $150 and he loves them. Lightweight and the glass is impressive for cheap binoculars. I use Swarovski ELs and I was impressed b...

Re: Are you ready?

Today is the day and I sure hope that Papabear comes through it ok. I went in a several years back expecting to get a stint put in and they did a quadruple bypass surgery on me. It turned out that my blockage was over 90% in all the arteries. Next year will be my 10 year anniversary of the surgery. ...

Re: Hawk crawler cart replacement wheels

Mine is 4 to 5 years old also and the rubber is starting to crack and I just patched a tube also. I have an old tire repair kit and used super glue instead of the old repair glue and it is holding up well. Mine is stored in an open garage year round. I suspect I will be buying those tires next year.

Re: Bleeding fish

Most of the bleeding fish stuff I have seen is for red meat ocean species such as Tuna and others. I have never bled out a fresh water fish before cleaning it.
