Arsenal in 1972
This is a pic of my recurve's in 1972. Best pic I could find. Top Bow was a Shakespear. A target bow with interchangable limbsets. Middle bow was a Ben Pearson used for bowfishing. Bottom bow was a Fred Bear Kodiak used for hunting. I don't remember the draw weights on any but the Kodiak was beefy &...

Re: How hard is it to......
A second point that I forgot to mention. Your arms will stretch. You may become NBA worthy, but a new wardrobe will be needed. You can always just hang out with the rest of us "knuckledraggers". Its pretty easy to spot the Exomax shooters in a crowd. I've only been at this a couple weeks &...

Re: Ibex accurate to 180 Meters !
But even so, I was very happy with the accuracy compared to the verticals. I'm hoping with some more fine tuning I'll get them to stay in the ground next year. Clout Mirror.jpg Clout.jpg Awesome, sounds to me like your on the way to winning your first clout! :D I & my Brother & a coupla bud...

Re: Claws x 2?
I spent about an hour on the phone w/ Danny over this recently. His opinion is the 2" shorter string will be a b*tch to change, over stress the stringing aid. It was an interesting conversation as he was building strings in his mind while talking to me. He called me back about 20 min...

Re: Claws x 2?
If you shortened the string which would raise the brace height which would limit the limb travel would that compute to lower FPS? I dunno, fun to think about tho

I purchased a Morrell yellowjacket crossbow field point target from Cabellas. The bolts only penetrate 6 to 8 inches @ 10 yards & can be pulled out very easily. I shoot an Excalibur Axiom with the firebolts. This target is rated for field points only so when it gets a little closer to hunting se...

His user name is "Munch" so just send him a private message. I can't PM until I post a few more times according to my user control panel. I realized I have put the S5 on my bow & that the Munch Mount may not work in this situation? Thanks all, Bud He has a mount that allows the S5 to ...

Munch mount?
Where can I purchase a munch mount? Oh, by the way I'm a newbie on this forum & would like to say thanks for all the info here. Because of the insight & info here I'm now the proud owner of an Excalibur Axiom. Thanks, Bud
