I use Gorilla glue both al. and carbon shaft, without any problem.

Ok, I don't do any cresting. Have been using Gorilla Super Glue on carbon. Will this glue work on aluminum?

Aluminum shaft prep for fletching?

I have some experience fletching carbon shafts but have not done any aluminum. Got a friend that needs some fletched. Can I use finger nail polish remover and 50% alcohol to clean the aluminum shafts without removing the arrows finish? How do you guys do it? Thanks!!!

I have to disagree with the more wear and tear with the Matrix 355. I can't say how many arrows I've shot out of it....probably close to 350-400+ and have the same flemish string on it and doesn't show much wear on the serving at all. I'll be going for annual eye exam nxt month. Last yr the dr. told me I could get bi-focals. I asked what he would do and he said he would wait. I'm sure that I will need themthis time for real. I usually have mine up a month to 2 months before season opener but I have put one up one evening and hunted it the next morn and saw several deer and killed a very nice buck.

A few yrs ago I had a horton xbow and tried some of the original rage bheads, could not get them to group well at all. Let us know how these do.

Just saw this on youtube

Saw a video where they used a copper scouring pad to clean fletching glue off of carbon arrows. What ya'll think about this and would it work with aluminum???
