I have some experience fletching carbon shafts but have not done any aluminum. Got a friend that needs some fletched. Can I use finger nail polish remover and 50% alcohol to clean the aluminum shafts without removing the arrows finish? How do you guys do it? Thanks!!!

I have to disagree with the more wear and tear with the Matrix 355. I can't say how many arrows I've shot out of it....probably close to 350-400+ and have the same flemish string on it and doesn't show much wear on the serving at all. I usually have mine up a month to 2 months before season opener but I have put one up one evening and hunted it the next morn and saw several deer and killed a very nice buck.

A few yrs ago I had a horton xbow and tried some of the original rage bheads, could not get them to group well at all. Let us know how these do.

Saw a video where they used a copper scouring pad to clean fletching glue off of carbon arrows. What ya'll think about this and would it work with aluminum???
