Re: matrix 380

Love my 380 have owned if for I believe about 6 years. Have no desire to get a new model at this time. I am 68 a still hand cock it for 15-20 consecutive shots during a practice with no problems so if someday that changes then I will consider a hand crank. To me it is the perfect crossbow, accuracy ...

Re: Recommend Me A Reliable 100gr Expandable

I like the 100 gr 1 3/4 inch NAP Spitfires and Wasp Jak- Hammer mechanicals.
shoot like field points out of my 380 Matrix and blow big holes completely
thru any deer regardless of size. I also use a dental band on my Spitfires and just
for insurance. Works perfect.

Re: Customer Service

Purchased a Matrix 380 about 5 years ago. Had a limb crack. I contacted Peter and Dawn. They directed me to Danny at that time, sent the limbs to him and a week later I had brand new limbs for my 380. It just doesn't get any better than that. Great people to deal with. There are also many very helpf...

Re: Inspect your turkeys folks! (Graphic images)

Nice bird congratulations!! I see what Gerald is talking about in regards to a pellet, looks possible. I would also suspect that during this time of year when these birds are fighting for a hen that a sharp spur from a adversary can do substantial damage to a Tom. I am sure most of us have watched s...

Re: Limb numbers

What's going on here?
Guy asked a valid question....I've been on this site about 5 years or so and I can't give him a honest answer to that question.
Some of these replies are what push people away from an otherwise great forum. Just saying.

Re: Aluminun Arrows

I use Easton XX75 aluminum arrows in 2216 size cut at 19 inch's for my 380 Matrix. I use an aluminum insert in the front and a Easton plastic flat nock in the rear, and three 2 inch Blazer vanes with as much helical as my Bitzenberg fletcher will give it, no weights added. The entire completed arrow...

Re: EXCALIBUR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!!

Excalibur's customer service is second to none period. I have used it a couple times a few years ago and it was awesome. Peter is a class act as are the people at Woodys and of course Don. I am curious regarding the repair facility in Port Huron, Michigan. I live in Michigan only about 45 minutes so...

Re: Trigger tech recall

Sorry if this has been already answered here. Been super busy and I just read about the trigger recall and have a question. I just removed my trigger Tech Trigger to find the (serial number?) and this is the number I have hand scribed on the bottom of the trigger. 0693-003 that's it...this does not ...

Gene... Not sure what your last paragraph is referring too? If you have miss understood what I was talking about in terms of you being a better hunter than I am.( it appeared that you did) I have no problem with viewing others as having better skills at hunting or shooting than I do. Anyone that can...

Re: Opinions on Matrix

Well Gene you are obviously a much more skilled hunter and archer than I will ever be. What eludes me is why waste your time with an crossbow...I would still love to use the old bows but with shoulder injuries and arthritis the constant practice that is required for proficency is not possible anymor...

Re: Opinions on Matrix

Very true Gene and I agree with you. However when I started bow hunting at the age of 12 in 1964 I was using a 48 lb Bear Grizzly recurve bow with feather fletched cedar arrows and 145 gr Bear broadheads.. That was potent medicine for deer back then. I guess the speed of the arrow was around 165 -17...

Re: Unequal limbs when cocked. Normal?

Measuring tiller is really quit easy on a crossbow, compound bow or recurve bow. A bow square works well for this because that is what it is designed to do. I just visually could see that while my crossbow was uncocked that the string was not square with the mainframe rail...simple. So I pulled out ...
