Re: To much power..
Your 380 is 260 lbs, divided by 13.1 power stoke = 19.847 lbs per inch means about 9.57 inches stroke for 190lbs :) with some rounding off of the decimals. That means you'd have remove 3.53 inchs. It can be done but you might be better off getting a Matrix 310 @ 200 lbs @ 10.9 "power stoke and ...

Re: Insert Removal
I'use used a small soldering iron to heat the insert then pull it with pliers.
Method number 2 is run a 10/32 screw in half way, heat the screw with a small torch, pull it out with pliers, be careful screw is hot!

Re: C2 crank
It only takes a few more seconds to attach a cranker upper tool and that's all it is, a tool to help. I use mine when I need it, I can cock my bow without it but it's darn nice to have on days when I'm a hurtin unit. Under 30 yds you'll see very little difference whether you cock by hand or with the...

Re: Nova Scotia Sunday Hunting
Pennsylvania doesn't allow Sunday hunting, except for crows?? There's a big push to have the legislature change to allow Sunday hunting but with the 2nd largest legislature in the US, it'll take forever an a day to pass. Bad enough the antis are fighting it against it but the state is fighting it as...

Re: Buckmaster Maxpoint by Excalibur?
If this isn't the right place for this please let me know. My buddy owns an archery shop and deals in Excaliburs. Someone just brought in a Buckmaster Maxpoint compound crossbow made by Excalibur. He needs to get string and cables for it but don't know the lengths. Have Dan Milleers # but was wonde...

Re: Info needed on Buckmaster Maxpoint
I found a manual a while back when I had a Maxipont, sold the bow to a neighbor an he's using it now.
This is for a Bear F- series crossbow, the F-340 is the same as your xbow.

You should be shooting 400 gr arrows or heavier. Seems like they were around 340 fps, yea they are a good bow.
