Hey Emptyfreezer.
I have a question that I bet a lot of the newer xbow hunters have. Is there anywhere to locate other hunters in the southern ontario area (or elsewhere) who are willing to share their expertise and train new hunters?

Re: Finally joined the ranks
I was just kidding you Colder, you have those two already. They are between your ears. I know it sounds simplistic but just don't ruin your day with a dry-fire or smacking your thumb. Don't let anyone interrupt your sequence of loading and shooting. Not even a mosquito bite! I know they do make the...

Re: Finally joined the ranks
Congratulations! How about a scope, stringing aid, S5, extra string, rope cocker, arrows, broadheads, broadhead target, and thumb and dry-fire protector? Thanks, Boo. It came with the Varizone along with the rest of the lite stuff package. I am looking at the S5, but figured that could wait, and I ...

Re: SW Ontario deer hunting license help
I checked. From my interpretation, all WMUs allow bow hunting during gun season as none exclude it...in fact some list bow and muzzle loaders only.

From the Toronto Star Note where it states "Toews said firearms officers are not authorized under Bill C-19 to collect any “point of sale data” or take any other measures “that could facilitate the creation of a provincial long-gun registry.”: OTTAWA—The federal public safety minister has fired...

Thanks for the advice. I am thinking Phoenix or Axiom now. Read so many great things about both, but am leaning towards spending the extra $200 for the Phoenix Lite Stuff @ Gagnon's.

Re: Safety Lock Question
Thanks for the speedy replies. although i prefer the feel of the thumbhole stock the motion needed to disengage the saftey (having to release the grip) DO you have to completely remove your grip? By looking at it I figured it was more of a thumb dance out of the thumbhole and over and around to to g...

Good on you for doing something like this. It is nice to see a forum where people genuinely care about the people they message with. I would be very curious to see your whole line up. Do you have a website where one could peruse your various models? For a suggestion, how about making it a maximum ag...

Hello All, I have been reading this forum for a few weeks, just joined a few days ago. I would like to get some opinions about the safety lock with the tradiional vs. thumbhole stocks. I am new to crossbows and am totally sold on Excalibur. I am looking to get a 175 pounder and feel this could be a ...
