Nockturnal Nock problems
Found this on Archerytalk. Has anybody on here ran into this? This not about an Excalibur bow, but the lighted nocks themselves. These are just a few of the post on this topic: WARNING "Nockturnal Flat knocks are not safe from tenpoint crossbows" I wanted to pass this along. I purchased 2 ...

Re: Finally Got It!
That's a beauty for sure. Have you put any arrows down range with it yet? No, not yet. It came with the wrong scope. I ordered a Shadowzone, but they shipped it with a Varizone. The archery shop told me to go ahead and set it up and shoot it. But, I decided to wait till the right scope gets here. B...

My Intentions
Well, I finally got my Exocet 200, and have put a cheek rest on it before I've even shot it. Being the old traditional bowhunter that I am, I have a specific belief when it comes to my bows. I'm not a speed freak. I've been hunting with a hybrid D&R longbow that draws 47# @ 28", and I was s...

Finally Got It!
Finally after 37 days, I got my new Excalibur Exocet 200# crossbow today with a Lite Stuff accessory kit. Haven't got to shoot it yet, but looking forward to it sometime this week. The only negative is that it came with the wrong scope in the accessory kit. It was supposed to come with a Shadowzone ...

Re: Still Waiting
My Exocet has finally came in. The archery shop emailed me to let me knowthat it was here, and it's assemble and ready to set up. Now, I've just got to get time to get out of this office and go get it.

Re: Still Waiting
Hey maine hunter,
I'd gladly do that if you'd throw in a couple of moose. We don't see too many moose standing in the soybean and cotton fields around here in the Delta.
How does a guy go about hunting moose in Maine? I don't guess you can buy a tag over-the-counter, can you?

Re: Still Waiting
I plan on wearing those deer out! Here in Arkansas we're allowed 6 deer and unlimited hogs, so lots of shooting fun times ahead. Also, predator hunting nearly year round. We have a bear season, but there scarce in the places I hunt. Also, Fall turkey season is closed again this year due to low numbe...

Re: Still Waiting
My dealer always orders from Canada. They said its never taken this long before to get one in. They sold several last year without any where near this wait. I guess their busy making a bunch of them up there.

Still Waiting
Well, my Exocet was ordered on 06/18 or 19, paid for it on 06/30, and according to the sales person at Excalibur, it's between Canada and Arkansas, somewhere. It shipped out just a few days ago. I guess Arkansas is a long ways from Canada. Oh well, good things come to those that wait. That's what th...

Re: Recommend Rangefinder
I've got to find one that will serve double duty. My grandson has an older Bushnell I bought used for him to use with his compound, which has been very accurate. I need one, and he plays on the high school golf team, so I need to get a new one without the ARC technology (not allowed on the golf cour...

Re: Putting out a Hunting Challenge
Well, I'm not sure what colors to use. My Dad passed away in 1991 with what they called Metastatic Cancer. I know he had lung and liver cancer due to heavy smoking, and heavy drinking of hard liquor (alcoholic).
So, I guess I'll go with a base color of white, and go from there.

Flemish Strings
Being a traditional bowhunter at heart, I enjoy making my flemish strings. On an Excalibur, is a 3 bunble necessary? I mean, is it stronger, quieter, longer lasting? Will a 2 bundle work just as well? Thanks.

Easton Blazer Quickfletch
Has anybody tried the Easton Blazer Quickfletch fletching on their crossbow arrows? I used them for a while while shooting a compound, and found them very handy and effective.
