Hooked up, loaded up, gassed up, groceries on ice . . . . . . I'm ready. Now, afternoon hury and get here. Grandson and I are headed to the hills to do some damage.

Got My Decal ON!
Got it on! My badge of honor, so to speak.

Re: How Fast?
Sounds like I need to find another chronograph to shoot thru. I thought the bow was shooting faster than 277. It was getting there in a hurry.

How Fast?
Sighted in my Exocet with the new Shadow Zone scope this morning. It was almost dead on right out of the box at 20 yards. I've not had the opportunity to shoot any further. But, I have a question about speed. How fast should a 200# Exocet shoot a 420 gr. Firebolt? The Firebolt is right out of the bo...

I Finally Have it in my Hand
One day short of 4 months, I finally got my Shadow Zone Scope. I don't know what the problem was, but we figured it out. I guess it was probably a communications issue. Either we couldn't speak Canadian, or they couldn't speak Arkansan. But, I don't care. There's nothing but happy times ahead with m...

Re: Excalibur Decal
They ran it on Facebook. All you had to do was message them your mailing address and the word decal. They sent it free. It's a nice size, too. About 8 or 10 inches long.

Re: Shadowzone Scope IS Here!
The wrong scope came in. Another Varizone scope. I guess we'll just keep trying. I know Stump and Graham at my dealer, DNW, are really frustrated with the whole situation. But, there's nothing to do but wait, and make due with the scope that came with the bow. But, the bow shoot great! I love the bo...

Shadowzone Scope IS Here!
My scope finally made it. It was ordered on July 25th. I'm headed to the bow shop to pick it up and get it set up right after work. Finally!

Re: Hunter Education Class
Congrats! The "still and quiet part" will take time. I went thru it with my oldest grandson. He's 16 now and quite the accomplished hunter. Things have come full circle. I used to be the one whispering for him to be still, don't make big movements, and/or be quiet. Now, when we occassional...

Finally Got to Shoot the Exocet
Well, I finally got to shoot my new Exocet. Still don't have my Shadowzone scope, but with plenty of light I managed with the Varizone. A couple of comments: For a person who shot traditional bows for the past 30 years, I found the crossbow awkward to handle and shoot. Also, when you've shot bows th...

String Wax?
I've got the Excalibur Serving Wax for the serving on my Exocet, but do you use the same wax for the string itself, or do you use regular string wax? Also, what's the best thing to use to lubricate the rail? Anybody ever tried 3m Teflon Dry Lube on their rail. It says it reduces friction without all...

Re: Still No Scope
Thanks for the offer maine, but I don't want to involve anyone else in this. I'll manage with the Varizone. My dealer says it's probably here in town at one of the other stores, and they may find it. I can use the Varizone except in low light. Due to some vision issues, I need the lighted reticle. I...
