Re: Tac Pac - Any have/use this?

Yup, I used the bottom hole that the quiver mount uses, just bought a longer screw. My foot fits in the stirrup and the foregrip tucks up against my shin. Not a problem. I've seen the pics of people's thumbs that get mangled from the string hitting it if you're not careful. No thanks! This keeps my ...

Re: Tac Pac - Any have/use this?

I use the grip from a hammer drill screwed into the underside of the front of the stock. Instant free foregrip. Definitely steady and more comfortable (and keeps my fingers away from the rail).

Spinning Bolt

Happy New Year everyone!
I was cleaning my Axiom today and tightening bolts when I found the bolt behind the trigger on the underside of the stock is spinning freely. Gorilla Glue in the hole? Wooden match stick? What do you think?
Thanks!

How to use new Ontario deer tag?

Just got my first antlerless deer seal ever and need a quick lesson. Am I correct in assuming that the top half is my deer licence and the bottom half goes on the deer? Why is the top half (the thinner portion) a sticker? Do I stick it on something? Do both parts of the bottom sticker (the thick one...

Re: I'm in the club

Thanks for clarifying the energy transfer situation. Great baseball analogy. I usually say "cock, lock, load" as I'm going through the motions, but let myself get distracted. Unfortunately, I know myself well enough that I'm sure it will happen again. As long as there is no venison in front ...

I'm in the club

I was target shooting at the cottage and my father in law asked me a question as I was cocking. Of course my brain immediately is overloaded (can't walk and chew gum) and I pulled the trigger only to hear that awful "thwack". The Axiom sucked it up like a champ. After a quick once-over I p...

Re: My son learned a lesson the hard way today

Good to hear he wants to climb back on the horse. I just posted a cheap and easy foregrip option if you want to avoid that nastiness in the future. Hope he heals up quick!

Homemade Foregrip

Got this off a hammer drill and bolted it just in front of the stock. Safer for the fingers!

Re: Another New Guy

Answers - to Long Carbine - I got the composite rail, basic scope, quiver, S5 system and I put a foregrip on it which I got off of a hammer drill! It fits perfectly and is black so it looks like it belongs there. It helps me hold steady and keeps my front hand away from the rail. To Colder 13 - As s...

Another New Guy

Hi all! I have been lurking here since January, learning a ton of info and picking up a gently used Axiom from this forum. If not for you folks I would have definitely dryfired and probably joined the digit trauma club by now. You have quite the community here and are fortunate to have such a knowle...
